ActivePath’s ActiveMail Hits Major Milestone with 500,000 Downloads

NEW YORK and TEL AVIV – July 24 – Activepath, Inc. announced today that ActiveMail®, its live email technology, achieved a major milestone in July by hitting 500,000 downloads after just three months. The download offers a free app that allows dynamic content and is completely actionable within the body of an email. It works on multiple platforms, including Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail and Outlook.

Acceptance of the new application by marketers and consumers comes less than a year after the company secured a $10 million financing round led by Battery Ventures and Gimv NV and participation from existing investors, including Genesis Partners. The capital was deployed to accelerate product development and drive sales of this interactive email technology.

Marketers are optimizing their email strategies to reach and communicate with existing and potential customers. Results are dramatic with double-digit increases in open rates, click through-rates that increase to 100% by eliminating an extra mouse click and conversion rates that are double those of static campaigns.

Consumers are updating social content by sharing, liking, tweeting and commenting without leaving email. They can also watch videos, slides and albums and get updated retail offers without opening another browser. There are now over 25 active content publishers supported. Consumers are in control and now have the ability to take immediate action while eliminating the main security concerns that come from clicking on a link in an email.

At LeadsCon New York, the premiere conference for marketing and lead generation professionals, Jeff Kupietzky, ActivePath CEO, will participate in a panel entitled, “Email Reinvented,” which will showcase how innovation is taking email from essential to exciting by offering new opportunities for marketers to engage their customers.
